The diagnostic department is part of the Republican State Enterprise at the Republican Clinical Hospital for Veterans of the Patriotic War as a structural unit.

The department employs:

Head, 2 doctors, 3 nurses, senior nurse

About the department

The department provides the following services:

 

— Electrocardiography is a technique for recording and studying electric fields generated during the work of the heart.

 

— HM ECG, Holter ECG monitoring (Holter, daily ECG monitoring) is a diagnostic study in which the patient’s electrocardiogram is recorded continuously for 24 hours. The study is used to diagnose arrhythmia and myocardial ischemia.

 

— Daily blood pressure monitoring, or ABPM for short, is measurement of blood pressure throughout the day at short intervals (15-30 minutes) during the patient’s normal activity during the day and during sleep at night, with further processing of the data obtained on a computer.

 

— Spirography is a method for studying the function of external respiration, which includes measuring volume and speed parameters of breathing.

 

— Electroencephalography is a method for studying the functional state of the brain by recording its bioelectrical activity.

 

— ECHO CG – study of the anatomy of the heart using ultrasound waves EchoCG allows you to clarify the size of the heart cavities, the thickness of the heart walls (hypertrophy or atrophy), evaluate their movement and suggest the presence of ischemia or MI.

 

— Ultrasound is a study of the human body using ultrasound waves.

 

— Videoesophagogastroduodenoscopy — examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach and duodenum). Gastroscopy is used to diagnose duodenitis, esophagitis, gastritis, peptic ulcer of the duodenum or stomach, as well as if tumors or bleeding from these organs are suspected.

 

— Video colonoscopy is a highly informative endoscopic method for examining the colon, which allows identifying inflammatory changes, malignant and benign neoplasms at the earliest stages of their development. The study is carried out both for certain indications and for the purpose of screening for cancer after 40-45 years.

 

– X-ray.

 

— Consultations with an otorhinolaryngologist, dentist, urologist, psychotherapist, endocrinologist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, cardiologist, orthopedic traumatologist.

 

 

 

For whom?

 

The diagnostic department carries out inpatient examination and diagnosis of disabled people and participants of the Second World War, internationalist soldiers, persons taking part in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident, residents of the Semipalatinsk region (radiation risk region), persons serving in military service at a nuclear test site, as well as paid services in full. These diagnostic activities are performed on patients requiring medical examination in accordance with patient management standards and protocols.
